Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist to join our
Operation Christmas Child team in
Boone, NC or Charlotte, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of
Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist,you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Manage the development, implementation, and advancement of data analysis software (Tableau, Tableau Prep, Knime) for the purpose of monitoring, reporting, and measuring the effectiveness of key ministry initiatives
- Communicate with OCC management to develop and manage static and dynamic data dashboards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data process, workflows, and standards
- Assist in conducting a variety of application testing
- Train staff on the utilization and interpretation of the Tableau dashboard reports and provide technical support for OCC department, events and processing season
- Other duties as assigned
What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in data visualization principles and tools (Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView)
- Thorough knowledge of the ETL process
- Experience with core data management principles and practices
- Proven data and statistical analysis ability
- Ability to translate data into a visual dashboard
- Thorough knowledge of technology testing techniques and documentation process
- Proven ability to train and coach staff in business processes
- Project management experience
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
- Working knowledge of MySQL (preferred)
