Responsibilities:- Provide the primary technical interface with a variety of customers, via phone, email, live web chat, and occasional face-to-face customer visits
- Respond to all technical inquiries in a professional and positive manner
- Resolve design issues by making product recommendations as required by customers
- Exercise excellent business judgment to determine additional support as needed or escalation as required
- Provide test support as needed for customer requested special testing
- Work as a collaborative and professional team member in cross-functional situations with Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Production, Distribution channel and Marketing
Requirements:- Must have experience in RF components and able to quickly come up to speed on technical aspects of these products
- Applications Engineer with working knowledge of RF/Microwave semiconductors for power amplifiers, LNA, phase shifters, switches, and filters.
- Experience and knowledge in software development (Python preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and in a team, to working on solutions for issues in customer designs
- Experience in a customer facing role in a sales or support environment required
- Excellent business communication skills, written and spoken English, and solid presentation skills
- Positive, supportive attitude in a mutually-respectful environment required at all times
- Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an emphasis in RF, plus 8 or more years of experience in design and/or test or as a sales engineer in the RF space
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $125,400 - $163,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
