Job Title: WLAN Developer
Location: Chennai
Core Technical Requirements
The position is strictly focused on Core Development (Design, Implementation, Coding, & Testing). Note that Porting experience is not required.
Programming & Protocols:
Expertise: Proficiency in C Programming and Wi-Fi technologies (IEEE standards) is a strict must-have.
Networking: Strong understanding of Layer 3 & Layer 4 (TCP/IP stack).
System & Kernel Knowledge:
Hands-on experience with the Linux Kernel and Networking Subsystems.
Familiarity with NSS Firmware and system bring-up.
Specialized Exposure:
Offload engines and Hardware acceleration (HE acceleration).
Firmware-level networking components.
WLAN-3/Networking-1 stack experience.
Debugging:
Must understand sniffer capture (basic level) and possess the ability to debug effectively within the Wi-Fi protocol.
Required:
12-15 years of hands on experience in WLAN / Linux driver development.
Strong C / C++ programming and debugging skills
Experience with ARM based Linux system software
Familiarity with software customization, configuration management and integration
Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce)
Good understanding of WLAN driver
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands on knowledge of OpenWrt (build system, package management, DTS, kernel integration) is an added advantage
Prior experience with CLIENT Wi Fi chipsets and QSDK based platforms is highly preferred
