Position Location
This position is located in Chesapeake, VA.
Pay range is $17-$22/hour.
Job Overview
This position provides all aspects of system administrator support for the customers IT systems both on and off site required.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
Install and maintain operating and systems software
Manage system configuration
Monitor compliance
Evaluate software and hardware
Administer and maintain user account and profiles
Perform troubleshooting
Provide IA technical support
Assist with assurance testing
Other duties as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
Keep managers and supervisors appraised of their progress
Ability to work well with others
Adhere to contract requirements and comply with company policies and procedures.
Ability to travel and work independently
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
A current System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or equivalent certification.
Certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in System Administration and two (2) years of system administration experience.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Network Engineering or certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in System Administration
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work both remotely and on customer site.
Occasional travel will be necessary.
Physical Requirements:
This role is largely sedentary
