Job Description:
The Senior Database Architect will design, develop, and maintain database systems to meet business and technical requirements. The candidate should have strong experience in database design, data modeling, SQL, and database performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain database architecture.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and database structures.
Ensure database security, performance, and data integrity.
Troubleshoot complex database issues.
Support database migration, backup, and recovery.
Prepare database design documentation.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop effective database solutions.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in database architecture or a related field.
Strong knowledge of database design, SQL, and data modeling.
Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Ability to handle complex tasks independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery.
Experience with database migration and cloud databases.
