Test Execution & Performance Optimization (Combustion &
After-treatment)
Plan and execute daily steady-state and transient engine test
protocols.
Analyze combustion characteristics, fuel economy, and
emissions profiles to ensure performance meets target
specifications.
Oversee the performance and integration of EGR, SCR, DPF,
and other critical emissions control technologies.
Technical Troubleshooting & Maintenance (System Diagnostics)
Act as the primary lead for diagnosing complex issues within
engine hardware, fuel systems, cooling loops, and ECUs.
Lead investigations into test failures, implementing corrective
actions to resolve hardware or software deviations.
Ensure all test cell architectures (air intake, high-pressure
fuel, etc.) comply with rigorous functional safety standards.
Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Management (Uptime
Optimization)
Develop proactive maintenance strategies to minimize
unscheduled downtime and ensure peak test cell utilization.
Coordinate with Calibration, Hardware Development, and
Facilities teams to align testing with project milestones.
Manage test cell assets, tooling, and technical personnel to
ensure seamless project progression.
Requirements:
Combustion Performance Engineer will serve as the technical
owner of engine test cell operations.
