Location: Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role focuses on the hands-on development of integrations, APIs, and AI-driven solutions using modern cloud technologies. The engineer will work on building and supporting AI-enabled applications, learning prompt engineering, and contributing to scalable solutions in a regulated environment. The position involves supporting AI agents, developing basic prompt patterns, and collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support AI-enabled applications, APIs, and automation solutions.
- Assist in building AI agents, workflows, and prompt patterns.
- Contribute to prototypes and reusable components.
- Support backend service and API development.
- Assist in implementing event-driven solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate with enterprise systems following secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions and learn best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience: 2-4 years of software development experience.
Technical Skills:- Basic Prompt Engineering & AI Model Integration.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and agent-based systems.
- API Development & Integration.
- Cloud fundamentals (Google Cloud Platform preferred - Cloud Run, basics of Azure/AWS).
- Event-driven architecture basics (Pub/Sub).
- CI/CD fundamentals.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of API and backend development.
- Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled applications.
- Experience or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Cloud Run) or similar platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud deployments.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
