POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Senior Director of IT, the Manager, IT Infrastructure & Operations leads the infrastructure, cloud, network, and voice functions of IT Operations. This role is responsible for the reliability, security, scalability, and cost-effective delivery of enterprise technology services, while providing leadership to technical teams, managing cloud licensing and AI platforms, and ensuring effective support for business-critical systems across all company locations. This is a supervisory position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations:
Lead the design, implementation, support, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networks, telecommunications, and collaboration platforms.
Ensure the reliability, availability, security, scalability, performance, and recoverability of technology services across all company locations.
Develop infrastructure standards, roadmaps, documentation, and support models aligned with business and cybersecurity requirements.
Drive automaton, standardization, modernization, and cost optimization initiatives.
Cloud Licensing, AI & Asset Management:
Manage enterprise software licensing and subscriptions, including Microsoft 365, Jira, Smartsheet, AI platforms, and other SaaS solutions.
Administer enterprise AI solutions and establish governance practices related to licensing, access management, security, and responsible use.
Oversee license administration, renewals compliance, budgeting, reporting, and cost optimization activities.
Service Delivery, Security & Business Continuity:
Serve as the escalation point for major infrastructure, cloud, network, and voice incidents.
Ensure compliance with established incident, problem, change, access, and disaster recovery standards.
Monitor service performance and implement improvements that enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities for critical systems.
Strategy, Projects & Vendor Management:
Develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps, technology initiatives, upgrades, migrations, and system improvement projects.
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and technology partners, including contracts, service levels, licensing, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to identify technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, system inventories, standards, and operational procedures.
Management :
Lead and develop Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Voice teams by establishing priorities, performance expectations, and operational standards
Manage and develop critical positions and teams supporting Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, UniFi, Five9, and Nextiva.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability.
Manage staffing, performance management, training, workload planning, and resource allocation
Establish on-call schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for critical business systems.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, service-oriented, and continuous-improvement culture.
Perform all standard management responsibilities, including hiring, performance evaluations, terminations, disciplinary actions, documentation, employee development, and timecard approvals.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience :
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in infrastructure, cloud, network, voice, systems engineering, or IT operations.
3+ years of people leadership managing technical teams, large group workloads, multiple business priorities, and employee development.
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments and leading infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements.
Experience supporting and maintaining business-critical systems, including participation in on-call and after-hours support activities.
Technical Experience:
Working knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, internet connectivity, monitoring, redundancy, and performance management.
Experience overseeing Cisco, Meraki, and Ubiquiti UniFi network environments.
Experience overseeing enterprise voice and contact center platforms, including Five9 and Nextiva, call routing, IVR, ACD, SIP/VoIP, number management, carrier services, and service performance.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, identity, access, patching, vulnerability remediation, change management, problem management, and operational controls.
Experience administering Jira (or a comparable Agile work-management platform) and applying Agile methodologies to plan, prioritize, and manage team workload.
Experience managing cloud software licensing and subscriptions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Jira, Smartsheet, and other SaaS platforms), including entitlement tracking, assignment, renewals, and cost optimization.
Familiarity with enterprise AI tools and their administration (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot), including licensing, access controls, and responsible-use considerations
Other Requirements:
Strong leadership, communication, vendor management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to travel as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
Ability to plan and perform maintenance, upgrades, and cutover activities during approved after-hours windows to minimize business impact.
Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, Meraki, cloud, ITIL, or project management certifications are preferred.
Travel Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required for domestic travel

Will be required to communicate both verbally and in writing, view a computer monitor, and perform tasks requiring close vision with the ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch to access files, supplies, or other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motion is required for keyboarding and other clerical tasks.
