Summary

Job Role: Lead - Common Information Model (CIM)

Job Location: Dallas TX

Job description:

7+ years of experience in the electric utility industry, with at least 3 years focused on CIM design and implementation.
Proven experience with IEC 61970 and IEC 61968 standards and their application in utility environments.
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect, CIMTool) and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, RDF, JSON).
Familiarity with utility systems such as SCADA, DMS, EMS, GIS, or OMS (Outage Management System).
Lead CIM Strategy & Architecture by designing and governing CIM-compliant data models aligned with utility business and operational needs.
Drive System Integration & Interoperability across enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data exchange using IEC 61970/61968 standards.
Provide Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement by guiding engineering teams and collaborating with business, IT, and operations stakeholders.
Establish Model Governance & Quality Assurance through lifecycle management, validation, version control, documentation, and compliance processes.
Support Grid Modernization & Innovation by leveraging CIM for digital transformation, advanced analytics, and emerging utility technologies
