Job DetailsDrives the architectural lifecycle from initial concept through technical execution, managing drawing production, building code compliance, and consultant integration. Oversees task delegation for junior team members while maintaining project timelines and design integrity.
This is a fully on-site position near Downtown Dallas.
Key Qualifications
- Education & Credentials: Accredited architectural degree (architectural license is advantageous).
- Experience Level: Mid-to-senior level (4-12 years in architectural practice; background in educational facilities is ideal).
- Software Skills: High proficiency with Revit, graphic suites, and 3D modeling programs.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of zoning laws, accessibility requirements, structural/MEP integration, construction administration, and project scheduling.
Primary Responsibilities
- Technical Drafting & Documentation: Direct and produce full construction document packages, details, and specifications with minimal oversight, maintaining strict quality control over drawing sets.
- Project Coordination: Lead cross-disciplinary consultant teams, handle regulatory/code analysis, manage vendor workflows, and interface directly with clients for progress updates.
- Team Leadership & Administration: Structure sheet layouts, delegate tasks to entry-level staff, monitor task budgets, and run meeting logistics alongside project leadership.
