Summary

Role: SAP FERC Consultant
Location: Remote (Occasional travel.)
Duration: 3-month contract (strong potential for extension based on performance)
Start: Immediate

Role Overview Our client is kicking off a greenfield SAP FERC implementation for a leading utility client currently running on a legacy system. We need a hands-on SAP FERC Consultant who can hit the ground running — take the project from blueprint through configuration, data migration support, and go-live. Strong performers will see this role extend well beyond the initial 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP FERC configuration and setup for the greenfield implementation
Map legacy utility data into SAP FERC structures (FERC Forms 1, 2, 3, etc.)
Define and configure regulatory accounts, cost pools, and allocation rules
Collaborate with functional teams (IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities / FI) to ensure seamless integration
Support data migration, testing cycles, and cutover activities
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to the client's team

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in SAP FERC, specifically in the utility/energy sector
At least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP FERC (greenfield preferred)
Deep understanding of FERC regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
Hands-on configuration of regulatory ledgers, allocations, and account mapping
Experience working with legacy system conversions to SAP
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
