Seeking an experienced Qlik Talend Cloud (QTC) Architect with 8 to 10+ years of data integration experience for a 6-month contract role (100% Remote with milestone-based travel to Davidson, NC). The candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting, and building real-time, log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines using Qlik Talend Cloud. This hands-on architectural role requires deep technical mastery in establishing secure database connections (Oracle & SQL Server), managing GitHub-integrated CI/CD deployments, and implementing data masking/schema transformations for enterprise data platforms.
#Key Responsibilities
* CDC Pipeline Architecture: Personally design, configure, and build real-time, log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines using Qlik Talend Cloud to ingest streaming data from enterprise sources.
* Database Integration: Establish secure, optimized connection parameters and high-performance data flows from enterprise relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL Server.
* CI/CD & Pipeline Management: Partner with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and manage Qlik Talend Cloud tasks utilizing existing GitHub-integrated CI/CD automation pipelines.
* Transformation & Data Security: Implement robust schema mapping, data transformation rules, and sensitive data masking/anonymization mechanisms across lower environments.
* Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Identify technical constraints within SaaS connectors, resolve latency bottlenecks, and architect reliable workarounds to ensure data consistency and high availability.
#Required Qualifications
* Core Experience: 8 to 10+ years of dedicated experience in Data Integration Architecture, ETL/ELT, and Enterprise Data Management.
* Primary Platform Stack: Hands-on architecture experience with Qlik Talend Cloud (QTC) and Qlik Sense / Qlik Data Integration.
* Database & CDC Expertise: Proven track record designing log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines from Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
* DevOps & Security: Direct experience deploying data pipelines via GitHub CI/CD automation and executing data masking/governance policies.
* Work Setup & Location: 100% Remote (Must be open to occasional milestone-based travel to Davidson, NC 28036).
