Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training in mechanical maintenance, industrial equipment, or fluid handling systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and equipment schematics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
Experience Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial pumps, fluid handling equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, or related mechanical equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills in a field service environment.
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and technical reporting preferred.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments for extended periods.
- Comfortable traveling to customer locations and working flexible hours when needed.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work safely around industrial equipment and machinery.
Job Duties
- Install, commission, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial pumps and fluid handling equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and operational issues to restore equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform operational testing, equipment health assessments, and performance verification following repairs or installations.
- Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, safety practices, and system best practices.
- Prepare detailed service reports, document repairs, and provide recommendations for preventive maintenance, upgrades, and replacement parts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while partnering with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management teams to resolve technical issues and improve equipment reliability.
