We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Data Engineer (AWS, Spark and SQL) for one of our esteemed clients.
Role: Data Engineer (AWS, Spark and SQL)
Location: Onsite – Denver CO
Duration : Long term
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark and PySpark or Scala.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, and query optimization.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed data processing and big-data concepts.
- Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Athena.
- Experience with Python, preferably PySpark.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale data processing jobs.
- Experience with Git or other source-control tools.
