Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Englewood, CO
Onsite Requirement: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote per week
Compensation: $60-70/hr

We're partnering with a well-established national organization seeking a
Web Product Owner to lead delivery across a portfolio of websites, customer portals, and system integrations. This is a highly visible role where you'll work alongside product, engineering, design, content, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful digital experiences.
Why This Opportunity?- Own delivery for multiple public-facing websites, member/customer portals, and backend integrations
- Drive execution across a large, complex digital ecosystem with multiple concurrent workstreams
- Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Design, Content, and Product leadership
- Help shape and mature Agile and Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) processes
- Lead a cross-functional team while influencing developers and stakeholders across the organization
- Opportunity to support a major CMS modernization initiative and web platform transformation
What You'll Be Doing- Own and manage the product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery roadmap execution
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning activities, and ongoing delivery processes
- Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams spanning development, UX, content, design, and platform modernization efforts
- Partner with engineering teams to define requirements, remove blockers, and ensure successful delivery
- Manage portal enhancements, website initiatives, and integrations with enterprise systems
- Provide delivery updates and communicate progress to stakeholders across the business
- Oversee releases, testing, and implementation activities to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Lead and mentor a direct report while supporting a broader delivery pod
What We're Looking For- 3-7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar digital product delivery role
- Strong Agile/Scrum and Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) experience
- Experience managing complex web platforms, customer portals, digital products, or enterprise websites
- Heavy Jira experience and comfort living in the backlog every day
- Experience partnering directly with software development teams
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Ability to lead delivery across multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Experience working with composable or headless CMS platforms
Highly Desired Experience- Prior software development background (strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting CMS migrations or website modernization initiatives
- Exposure to React, .NET, API-driven architectures, and modern web platforms
- Experience leading developers, agencies, contractors, or cross-functional delivery teams
