Job Type: Contract - 3 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with strong expertise in Omron PLC programming and industrial automation for a 3-month onsite contract in Lewis Center, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning automation systems using Omron PLCs while supporting manufacturing operations.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Omron PLCs (CX-Programmer, Sysmac Studio, NJ/NX Series).
Experience with HMI development and integration.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, and OPC.
Experience in PLC programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
Experience working with VFDs, servo systems, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial networks.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
