Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Lead to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing and supporting enterprise authentication and security solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend engineer with strong experience building secure, scalable applications and integrating APIs within large enterprise environments.

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, and contribute to enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise backend applications.
Build and integrate secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
Develop authentication and authorization components for enterprise applications.
Implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern development practices.
Work closely with architects, product owners, QA teams, and fellow engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and production support activities.
Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
Contribute to application security, performance optimization, and system reliability initiatives.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong backend development experience using Java, C#, or another object-oriented programming language.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services, and microservice architecture.
Experience developing applications in Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with container platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization concepts.
Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) or authentication platforms.
Exposure to financial services, enterprise security, or other highly regulated industries.
Front-end development experience with modern UI frameworks is a plus.
Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Agile or cloud-related certifications are a plus.

Education
