The Supervisor Maintenance will plan, schedule and direct daily maintenance activities for multi-skill mechanics and contractors. Available for consultations and assistance with maintenance or staffing issues throughout the mill.
\n
Principle Accountabilities:
\n
\n - Plan/Schedule work orders. Supervise the activities of Maintenance personnel assigned to their area.
\n - Work closely with engineering to ensure capital projects are implemented with maintenance concerns addressed.
\n - Assign and direct work to meet maintenance requirements, while coordinating to meet production schedules with a minimum of downtime and cost.
\n - Check all completed work before releasing equipment to Operations Department. Ensure build/repair documentation is completed and recorded.
\n - Participate in continuous improvement of preventative maintenance / basic care and documentation.
\n - Issue direct and storeroom requisitions for repair parts & supplies necessary to perform Electrical Maintenance work.
\n - Administer company policy, enforce company rules & regulations. Maintain discipline & administer Union-Management Agreement.
\n - Participate in plant safety, fire prevention, housekeeping programs & maintain safe working conditions & practices to ensure compliance with State & Federal Safety Standards.

Basic Qualifications:
\n
\n - BSME / BSMET or equivalent
\n - Must be mechanically inclined
\n - Technical Training / Experience with Industrial Maintenance
\n - Microsoft Office
\n
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n
\n - Experience with Industrial Maintenance (bearings, gears, conveyors, drives, etc)
\n - Experience with metal and process piping fabrication.
\n - Experience with alignment and balancing of rotating equipment.
\n - Experience with / understanding of vibration, lubrication, and infrared analysis.
\n - Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

\n - Starting salary range for position: $96,000 - $144,000
\n - Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
\n
\n
\n - Paid Holidays.
\n - Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
\n - Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
