- Incumbent is responsible for the overall management of functions and staff required to support the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the requirements of customer organizations.
- Develops, maintains, and presents analyses and briefings advising leadership on new technological developments, techniques, and enhancements that result in time savings and cost efficiencies.
- Develops integrated information requirements and integrated architecture, configurations, policies, procedures, plans/programs, and budget to support enterprise requirements related to communications, processor, storage, and software.
- Provides centralized lifecycle management, direction and guidance for budget, acquisition, sustainment and implementation of IT systems and software.
- Directs extensive and comprehensive data analysis to identify potential risk areas in technology infusion within the enterprise.

QualificationsIn order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Basic Requirements:Attention to Detail - experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards.
Customer Service - developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs.
Oral Communication - briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Problem Solving - identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions.
AND Qualifying Experience:To qualify at the
GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
experience relating to IT project or program management, IT systems analysis processes, and IT life cycle management. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

- Salary range includes a Targeted Local Market Supplement (TLMS) in accordance with Section 1599f of Title 10 U.S.C. and Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1400.25, Volume 3006.
- A three year trial period may be required if you have not previously completed a trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service.
- This position is subject to completion of 1 year probationary period for assignment to a supervisory position.
- Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
- This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7).

Incumbent's dependents shall be evacuated from the crisis zone with the same priority as other DoD-sponsored evacuees. You may be required, as a condition of employment, to take the series of anthrax vaccine immunizations to include annual boosters. This may also include other immunizations that may in the future be required for this position, or for a position you may fill as an emergency-essential alternate. Failure to take the immunizations may lead to your removal from this position or separation from Federal Service.
