What You Will Be DoingAs the Mechanical Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering robust mechanical solutions that enable the EHD team's mission-critical hardware to perform flawlessly in aerospace environments.
Your responsibilities will include:- Design and analyze mechanical components for flight-critical electronic hardware.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic subsystems.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, stress testing, and validation of hardware assemblies.
- Generate detailed CAD models and engineering drawings that meet aerospace standards.
- Support prototype build, test, and troubleshooting activities.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree, with a minimum of three years of professional experience (or equivalent experience)
Experience Designing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and evaluation
Desired skills Aerospace Electronic Product Development Experience
Experience in Cadence schematic capture, PCB layout Cadence Allegro
Experience maintaining electronic hardware library (Cadence)
Experience designing mechanical aspects of aerospace electronic components (CATIA Preferred)
Experience estimating
Familiarity with LM Aero processes, procedures, and tools
Functions well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
