Your ResponsibilitiesAs a
Prodcut Engineer for John Deere Commerical Mowing located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:
- Be part of a dynamic and energetic team developing Commercial Mowing products
- Work within a global cross-functional team to define specifications and develop solutions to complicated problems to improve cost, quality and/or performance on future and current product projects

What Skills You Need- 1 or more years of product engineering experience in off road equipment or automotive
- 1 or more years of CAD (PTC Creo or equivalent) and GD&T application
- Experience with product development and knowledge of the overall process (design, analysis, test, mfg., sourcing)
- Experience collecting requirements from stakeholders and making data driven decisions
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate within a cross functional team across multiple sites and drive results
- Ability to lead and execute sub-system level design projects
What Makes You Standout- Master's degree in engineering
- Experience with at least 1 (vehicle level) new product development cycle
- Experience implementing cost and warranty focused initiatives and utilizing root cause analysis
- Experience modeling complex parts and surface modeling in CAD
- A track record of innovation
- Professional/commercial mowing industry experience
- Experience working with PDM, SAP and other enterprise systems
- Demonstrated leadership and people skills
