Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing daily guidance, scheduling, and support
Ensure safe working conditions for all maintenance activities; enforce LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Electrical Safety protocols

Work cross-functionally with vendors and contractors for routine inspections, equipment repairs, and capital improvements
Use continuous improvement tools (5S, 5 Whys, Gemba, FMEA, Pareto, etc.) to improve plant reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
Support troubleshooting of production line issues, including grinding systems, robotics, PLCs, and VFDs
Track and improve KPIs: planned vs. unplanned work, labor utilization, PM adherence, cost of maintenance, and breakdown frequency
Develop training plans to build the team's technical skills and safety knowledge
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and promote a collaborative, positive team environment
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing or USDA-regulated facility
Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLCs, VFDs, sensors)
Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
Working knowledge of CMMS systems and continuous improvement methodologies
