About Champs Family Automotive
Champs Family Automotive is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician for its independent, family-owned repair shop in Goodyear, AZ. This position offers $75,000?$110,000+ in annual earning potential and a Monday?Friday schedule with no weekends.
The shop services all makes and models, including light-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, older vehicles, light-duty diesel applications, and RVs. Technicians work in a 16-bay facility with 12 lifts, advanced diagnostic equipment, specialty tools, and a collaborative team that prioritizes quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles across a wide range of makes and models
- Perform advanced automotive electrical, drivability, and vehicle communication diagnostics
- Troubleshoot CAN network issues and identify root causes accurately and efficiently
- Complete complex mechanical repairs on gas and light-duty diesel vehicles
- Diagnose and repair light-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, older vehicles, and RVs
- Use Autel, Bosch, IDS, Snap-on, and other provided diagnostic equipment and specialty tools
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve challenging diagnostic and repair concerns
- Maintain high standards for repair quality and workmanship
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experiencerequired
- Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
- Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
- Ability to diagnose CAN network and vehicle communication concerns
- Comfortable performing complex mechanical repairs and working with light-duty diesel and older vehicles
- Dealership or independent automotive repair experience
- Must own basic hand tools
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000?$110,000+ annual earning potential
