GameStop is seeking a
Lead Mobile App Engineer to drive the development of innovative mobile solutions across iOS and Android platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and mentorship while partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused experiences.
This role is onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.
What You'll Do- Lead the development and delivery of mobile applications and features supporting GameStop's PowerPacks ecosystem.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using React Native, Swift, and/or Kotlin.
- Drive technical decisions and contribute to mobile architecture and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use data and customer feedback to influence product enhancements and prioritization.
- Support continuous improvement across development processes and engineering practices.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years developing mobile applications with React Native and/or native mobile technologies (Swift, Kotlin).
- Experience delivering large-scale consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, APIs, testing, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.
- Experience in ecommerce, loyalty, rewards, membership, or subscription products preferred.
