RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Wireless Testing & Deployment Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO.
Summary:
We are seeking a QA, Testing & Deployment Engineer to support the testing, certification, and deployment activities for a network systems platform replacement. This role will begin by supporting initial test and deployment cycles, then transition into an ongoing quality assurance capacity - validating new releases, supporting future software lifecycle certifications, and ensuring stable, repeatable deployments. A key focus area will be validating AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) policies using AAA policy scripting languages (e.g., TAL - Triple A Language), along with general familiarity with network equipment vendor platforms and software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for API and database functionality
* Support integration, regression, and system testing throughout the development lifecycle
* Support deployment activities, including release coordination, rollout validation, and post-deployment verification
* Continue in a QA capacity to support future software lifecycle certifications and recurring release cycles
* Validate patches, bug fixes, and new feature releases prior to and following deployment
* Test and validate AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) policies using AAA policy scripting languages (e.g., TAL - Triple A Language)
* Collaborate with network engineering teams to validate integration points across various network equipment vendor platforms
* Identify, document, and track defects; Perform root-cause analysis and verify corrective actions
* Document test results, certification evidence, and deployment procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in software testing/QA (functional, regression, integration testing) for APIs and databases
* Experience supporting deployment and release activities, including validation post-deployment
* Experience supporting software through a full lifecycle - testing, certification, deployment, patching, and enhancement
* Experience with, or strong aptitude to quickly learn, AAA policy scripting languages (e.g., TAL - Triple A Language)
* General familiarity with network equipment vendor software/platforms (multi-vendor exposure a plus)
* Strong troubleshooting and defect-analysis skills in a production support environment
* Ability to work independently and manage ongoing QA/certification responsibilities across future release cycles
Preferred/Plus Skills:
* Experience with telecom/service provider AAA systems (e.g., RADIUS, Diameter)
* Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for test automation
* Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, protocols)
* Wi-Fi technology knowledge (802.11 standards, wireless network design/troubleshooting)
* Familiarity with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
