We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working on a wide range of installation and repair projects, delivering excellent service to our clients, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks that are critical to our operations and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and equipment manuals to understand and execute service requirements.
2. Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Utilizing hand tools and applying carpentry skills in the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
4. Performing commercial installations, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to safety regulations.
5. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.
6. Providing excellent customer service, addressing client queries, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial, HVAC, construction or automotive repair industry.
2. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
3. Proficiency in using hand tools and performing carpentry tasks.
4. Experience in commercial installations, with a solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
6. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
7. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
