Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator for a High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster. This role involves providing technical support that addresses customer business needs related to their HPC systems. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining effective customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general system administration for a large HPC cluster.
- Maintain system health and respond to customer requests.
- Plan and execute system upgrades.
- Maintain security posture to keep systems on the customer network.
- Work independently to troubleshoot the HPC system.
- Mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Provide knowledge transfer to client system administrators.
- Maintain expertise in emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
Education: A master's degree in computer science or a related field with 12+ years of professional experience, or 15+ years of relevant professional experience without a master's degree.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in HPC and Linux system administration.
