Position Summary
The Senior Plumbing Estimator is responsible for leading the estimating process for plumbing and mechanical construction projects, including conceptual budgeting, detailed takeoffs, pricing, and proposal preparation. This role evaluates drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates while identifying risks and value-engineering opportunities. The Senior Plumbing Estimator works closely with preconstruction, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project award and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of plumbing/HVAC systems, materials, labor productivity, and installation methods.
Proficiency with estimating software (AutoBid, Bluebeam).
