REQUIRED SKILLS:- Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Experience in scripting using software languages such as Java and Python
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
- Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible
- Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Strong understanding of web services, API, REST
DESIRED SKILLS:- Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process
- Background utilizing Jira for documenting and tracking software development tasks
- Documented experience with open-source technology, software development, system engineering and cybersecurity
- Exposure to Terraform or IaC tools
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- Required Certification: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or higher
- Location: Herndon, VA
- Hours: Contract core hours, 9am - 3pm; rotational on-call responsibility for team coverage
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
