Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead a high-performing engineering organization responsible for enterprise eCommerce platforms, internal business applications, and data/AI initiatives. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on engineering strategy, architecture, team development, and scalable platform delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams while driving technical excellence.
• Define engineering strategy, architecture, and technology roadmaps.
• Improve developer productivity, engineering processes, and system reliability.
• Drive architecture decisions across commerce platforms, internal tools, and AI/data solutions.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder communication, vendor relationships, and engineering operations.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performing software systems.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 6+ years of Engineering Management experience.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, and scalable applications.
• Experience leading engineering teams supporting enterprise or eCommerce platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, roadmap planning, and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with cloud technologies, analytics, AI initiatives, and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
