Johnson Controls is seeking experienced HVAC mechanics to join our specialized Data Center Travel Team, supporting some of the most technologically advanced and mission-critical facilities across North America.

What You'll Do
\nAs a member of our Travel Team, you'll play a vital role in keeping critical facilities operating at peak performance. You'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install advanced commercial HVAC equipment while working alongside some of the industry's most skilled professionals.
\n \nYou'll work with:
\nLarge commercial chillers
Compressors and pumps
Rooftop units
Cooling and mechanical systems
Building automation systems and controls
Advanced diagnostic tools, including vibration analysis and laser alignment technology

\nWhat Your Day Could Look Like
\nYou ll put your skills to work on advanced commercial HVAC systems, handling everything from troubleshooting and repairs to full system installations.
You ll work with a wide range of equipment, including chillers, compressors, pumps, rooftop units, and building automation systems using modern tools like laser alignment and vibration analysis to get the job done right.
Beyond the tools, you ll serve as a trusted expert to customers diagnosing issues, explaining solutions, and ensuring their systems run efficiently and reliably.
You ll also collaborate with a strong team of professionals, sharing knowledge, supporting apprentices, and continuing to grow your own expertise.
What Your Day Could Look Like
\nTravel to customer sites across North America, tackling complex HVAC challenges in mission-critical environments. You'll perform diagnostics, repairs, start-ups, and installations on commercial equipment while serving as a trusted technical resource for customers. What You Bring
\nExperience servicing commercial or industrial HVAC systems
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Willingness to travel 50-75% and adapt to changing project locations
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning
Participation in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices

\n*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
\n\nPay Range: $24.23 - 25.84 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
