You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next.Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Construct
As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.
THE WORK: You'll perform independent design assurance reviews of electrical engineering deliverables prepared by the EoR, OEMs, and major equipment suppliers for utility-scale CCGT projects.
You'll review one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, load lists, cable schedules, grounding designs, raceway layouts, protection and control schemes, relay settings/coordination studies, short-circuit studies, load-flow studies, arc-flash studies, equipment layouts, vendor drawings, and other electrical deliverables.
You'll provide technical oversight of major plant electrical systems and interfaces, including generators, isolated-phase bus, generator step-up transformers, unit auxiliary and station service transformers, medium- and low-voltage switchgear, motor control centers, large motors, variable-frequency drives, DC systems, UPS systems, emergency/backup power, grounding, lightning protection, lighting, raceway, cable systems, and plant electrical balance of plant.
You'll evaluate interfaces among gas turbine and steam turbine generators, OEM electrical packages, plant auxiliary systems, the switchyard/interconnection, protection systems, excitation systems, synchronization systems, and plant DCS/I&C systems.
You'll review electrical system capacity, redundancy, reliability, equipment ratings, auxiliary-load assumptions, and design margins to help ensure alignment with plant operating requirements and performance objectives.
You'll review RFIs, technical queries, design deviations, field change notices, and proposed scope changes and provide owner-side recommendations regarding technical acceptability, electrical safety, reliability, cost/schedule implications, and required corrective actions.
You'll review NCRs and electrical installation/quality issues, evaluate EoR or contractor dispositions, and support mitigation of cable, termination, grounding, equipment, testing, protection, and installation deficiencies.
You'll support constructability and installation reviews including cable routing, raceway congestion, equipment access, grounding continuity, hazardous-area requirements where applicable, separation requirements, equipment maintainability, and temporary/permanent power sequencing.
You'll support MOC by evaluating electrical scope changes and identifying impacts to system studies, equipment ratings, protection settings, drawings, cable schedules, construction work packages, energization plans, costs, and schedule.
You'll support electrical system turnover, energization, commissioning, synchronization, startup, and performance testing by reviewing test procedures, system boundaries, energization prerequisites, relay/protection testing, OEM requirements, punch items, and readiness documentation.
You'll coordinate closely with mechanical, civil/structural, I&C, construction, commissioning, project controls, commercial, and operations teams to resolve multidisciplinary interface issues.
You'll document design assurance findings, maintain technical issue/action logs, support project risk management, and communicate material electrical risks and recommendations to project leadership.
You'll promote electrical safety by design and identify conditions that could affect personnel safety, equipment protection, plant reliability, operability, maintainability, or grid/interconnection performance.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
