Role Overview
This role is responsible for conducting operational analyses to support business unit decisions. Key responsibilities include data entry, documentation, special projects, research, and report development. The position involves analyzing business process trends and facilitating the creation of appropriate reporting for each function.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in identifying and recommending process improvement solutions.
- Prepare spreadsheets, graphics, and word documents for tracking, analysis, and presentations.
- Take a leadership role in creating custom solutions with a detailed understanding of internal processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify, document, and improve system and process gaps.
- Provide consistent communication to management on deliverables and status updates.
- Maintain and exceed service level agreements for billing and transactional functions.
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations across all customer segments and states.
- Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation across markets.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Experience: 0-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of Quality Tools and Techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Financial Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Comfortable working in multiple IT systems simultaneously.
- Experience with utility deregulation and familiarity with market rules and protocols (ERCOT & Non-ERCOT).
- Ability to execute and deliver while managing changing priorities.
- Must be self-sufficient, a self-starter, and require minimal supervision.
- Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite position. The standard work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm. The dress code is business casual.
