Role Overview
We are seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, CLO Client Reporting to join a Structured Debt Client Platform team. In this role, you will be part of the Corporate Trust business, where the CLO Reporting Analyst Team delivers timely and accurate reporting on Collateralized Loan Obligations for internal and external stakeholders. You will partner with Analytics, Operations, Client Service, and other groups to ensure transparent communication and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and run portfolio Compliance and waterfall Models to deliver quality first drafts to the Client Service Manager (CSM).
- Prepare draft periodic reports based on agreed timelines between CSMs and Reporting Analysts (RAs).
- Liaise directly with clients to agree on test results, including discussions on inputs and parameters.
- Resolve basic modeling issues highlighted during the reporting cycle, with significant changes escalated to the Analytics team.
- Engage Position Services to resolve complex or unusual data problems identified during reporting.
- Act as a liaison between Position Servicing and the CSM to ensure smooth communication and task coordination.
- Analyze and incorporate client and auditor feedback related to models and test results.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience is preferred. Prior experience in an analytical role, such as financial modeling, valuation models, or data analytics, is sought. Experience in quantitative finance and technology is also preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in VBA/SQL will be valuable.
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree in quantitative analysis.
- Experience in CLO, structured finance, or fixed-income reporting.
