OverviewColliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll transform field survey data into accurate, high-quality drawings that support land development and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities- Ability to draft parcels, or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D).
- Maintains average skills in the use of AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus).
- Ability and knowledge to perform Topographic survey, ALTA survey, Boundary Survey, As built Survey etc.
- Ability to read and plot Legal descriptions.
- Performs drafting of portions of routine projects under direction of project surveyor.
- Understands surveying terminology.
- Prepares a variety of survey products.
- Adheres to AutoCAD standards manual.
Qualifications- High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
- 2-5 years of related experience. (Previous survey experience a plus).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Carlson OEM or Embedded highly preferred.
- Work within a team oriented environment to successfully complete a high volume of projects within established budgets and deadlines.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
