Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role is a critical enabler for P&L by performing data analysis and optimization to generate carbon credits for a group of production facilities. The position involves using PowerBI and other tools for data monitoring and visualization. The ideal candidate will develop monthly and quarterly reports, capture operational trends for optimization, and build relationships with auditors and regulatory stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize PowerBI and other tools for data monitoring and visualization.
- Develop monthly and quarterly reports per regulatory guidelines for credit generation.
- Capture operational trends to identify areas for optimization and profit improvement.
- Streamline credit generation work processes.
- Develop strong relationships with key auditors and regulatory stakeholders, including hosting site visits.
- Work closely with operations and planning teams for input into plan development.
- Investigate operational issues and connect data to physical operations.
- Identify optimization opportunities and find ways to improve processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:- Technical curiosity and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and participate in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet monthly deadlines for routine tasks.
- Experience using data analysis to drive profitability.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data reconciliation and trend analysis.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying bad or incomplete data.
- Technical background in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or plant/manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using PI, PIVision, PowerBI, PowerApps, and other data visualization software.
- Experience in process monitoring and optimization.
- Experience working closely with operations and facilities engineering to identify data quality constraints and opportunities for improvement.
