Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Automation Engineer to join our team in supporting large-scale infrastructure and automation solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment. This individual will play a key role in designing, building, securing, automating, and operationalizing cloud infrastructure to enable scalable business platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing architecture, engineering, automation, implementation, and operational support for Azure cloud environments.
- Managing and enhancing the capabilities of the Terraform Cloud platform, driving infrastructure automation and consistency.
- Provisioning and managing Azure resources using Terraform, as well as developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Designing, building, and maintaining workflows and automation with GitHub Actions.
- Administering Azure subscription processes, including ongoing governance and access controls to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
- Developing and maintaining automated platforms and tools to improve process efficiency, extensibility, and cloud scalability.
- Supporting identity integration, SSO, and access management initiatives across cloud environments.
- Implementing and operating monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain cloud health and performance.
- Providing production support, incident response, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for complex Azure environments.
- Managing the day-to-day operations, administration, and performance of the GitHub Enterprise platform.
- Partnering closely with architecture, security, engineering, and application teams to develop and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
- Enhancing cloud governance, compliance, and operational standards within the Azure platform to ensure best-in-class security and reliability.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and automation standards.
Essential Skills, Experience
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks and best practices.
- Extensive experience building, enhancing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Strong skills working with GitHub Enterprise for code management and automation.
- Thorough understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices in an enterprise setting.
- In-depth experience with Azure identity and access management, including SSO integration and RBAC.
- Experience implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability solutions in cloud environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a track record of providing effective production support and issue resolution.
- Proven ability to automate operational, deployment, and configuration processes using scripting languages and cloud-native tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate productively across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise platform engineering practices and cloud security frameworks.
- Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies in cloud environments.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate, or similar) are a plus.
