Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java EE (JEE) and Angular, and mandatory hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade applications, working closely with cross-functional teams across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development

Design and develop end-to-end web applications using Java EE (JEE) on the backend and Angular on the frontend.
Build RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, microservices, and enterprise service integrations.
Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.

AWS Cloud Engineering (Mandatory)

Architect, deploy, and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
Design CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy or equivalent tools.
Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Configure and manage IAM roles, security groups, VPCs, and cloud security controls.

Architecture & Design

Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
Drive adoption of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and cloud-native patterns.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization of deployed systems.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including design specs, runbooks, and API docs.

Mandatory Technical Skills
Backend — Java EE (JEE)

12+ years of Java development experience with strong proficiency in Java EE / Jakarta EE.
Expertise in core JEE technologies: Servlets, JSP, EJB, JPA, CDI, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JMS.
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
Strong knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA) and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with microservices design patterns and RESTful API development.

Frontend — Angular

5+ years of Angular development experience (Angular 10+).
Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, Angular Material, and NgRx / state management.
Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performance single-page applications (SPAs).
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and cross-browser compatibility.

AWS (Mandatory)

Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform — minimum 3 years.
Proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS.
Experience with AWS IAM, VPC configuration, security groups, and cloud security best practices.
Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.

Additional Skills & Experience

Experience with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or OpenShift).
Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Experience with version control using Git and branching strategies (GitFlow).
Understanding of application security principles: OAuth 2.0, JWT, HTTPS, OWASP Top 10.
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Redis.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK Stack, or Dynatrace.

Qualifications

Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
12+ years of overall software development experience in enterprise environments.
Demonstrated experience delivering full stack solutions in onshore engagement models.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead technical workstreams.
AWS certification (Developer / Solutions Architect) is a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

Experience with GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or AWS EventBridge.
Exposure to AI/ML integrations or AWS AI services (SageMaker, Rekognition, Bedrock).
Prior experience in aviation, finance, insurance, or regulated enterprise domains.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
