Summary

Job Title: Lead Data Modeler – AWS Cloud

Location: Malvern, PA & Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities

Design enterprise-wide conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Develop dimensional models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
Define enterprise data standards and naming conventions.
Partner with solution architects and data engineers.
Model structured and semi-structured datasets.
Optimize Redshift schemas for analytical performance.
Design data lake and lakehouse data structures.
Support ETL/ELT design and metadata management.
Review and approve data models across projects.
Mentor developers and modelers on best practices.
Maintain enterprise metadata repositories and data lineage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of data modeling experience.
5+ years designing cloud-native data platforms.
Strong experience with enterprise data governance.

Nice to Have

Wealth Management or Banking domain knowledge
Data Mesh or Lakehouse architecture
AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
TOGAF or DAMA certification
