StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a multi-billion-dollar global manufacturing leader in their search for a Corporate Director of Engineering - Sensors. This hybrid leadership role offers the chance to spearhead the evolution of cutting-edge sensing technology for domestic and international markets, backed by a premier industry giant. Based out of the Chicago area, the incoming executive will direct cross-functional technical teams, shape strategic market growth, and enjoy outstanding career advancement.
What You'll Do
Direct the creation and commercialization of next-generation sensing hardware for worldwide industries.
Oversee advanced electronic systems integration, featuring embedded microcontrollers, precision sensors, and custom firmware architecture.
Guide multifaceted engineering divisions spanning electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems domains.
Foster direct customer relationships and spearhead commercial development initiatives to expand market reach.
Coordinate hybrid operational schedules requiring presence on-site three days weekly for professionals residing within a hundred miles of Chicago or Milwaukee.
What You Bring
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 to 35 years of professional work experience
Demonstrated background leading engineering groups across domestic and international landscapes
Extensive background in Automotive Sensors, commercial vehicles, off-road equipment, industrial sectors, or related markets
Proven expertise in Management of multidisciplinary technical teams and fostering client relationships
Compensation & Total Rewards
Annual Salary: $200,000 - $250,000
30% Bonus
