Program Manager with ecommerce

Role / Project

This person will likely support large, complex e-commerce programs involving enhancements to the company’s digital/customer experience. Projects can start on the website/front end but connect to multiple downstream/back-end systems, so there are many teams and moving pieces involved. Payment-related initiatives are a significant part of the current backlog.

Most important things to look for

Strong e-commerce experience — retail experience is preferred because understanding the retail business will help.
Payments experience is a big plus, especially payment-related e-commerce projects.
Large, complex program experience — they want someone who has managed multiple workstreams and brought different teams together. This is more than managing an isolated project; they need someone who can see the big picture but dive into details when necessary.
Strong stakeholder management — they’ll work across designers, business partners, engineering/back-end teams, and other groups involved from the customer placing an order through fulfillment.
Standard PM tools/skills are expected.
AI experience is a nice bonus. The company is starting to focus on learning and applying AI tools, so someone who already has exposure would bring extra value.
