Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Cybersecurity Consultant to establish and streamline the enterprise intake, triage, and governance framework for emerging AI use cases. This role serves as a strategic liaison between Cybersecurity, AI engineering, data, and business teams to evaluate risk, identify affected cybersecurity functions, and ensure secure AI adoption across the enterprise.
A core focus of this position is building, training, and operationalizing an AI triage agent to automate recurring intake workflows, classification, and routing. The consultant will also lead requirements gathering for strategic AI security initiatives, conduct tool evaluations/POCs, and translate complex technical and security requirements into actionable delivery artifacts.
Key Responsibilities
AI Intake & Triage Process Design: Define, standardize, and scale an enterprise-wide AI security intake and triage workflow across Cybersecurity, AI/ML engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and business teams.
AI Agent Development & Automation: Design, prompt, test, and tune an AI-driven triage agent (leveraging LLM frameworks, RAG patterns, and guardrails) to automate intake classification, risk assessment, exception handling, and ticket routing.
Cross-Functional Cybersecurity Liaison: Represent Cybersecurity across enterprise AI working groups and forums; clarify security expectations, capture technical commitments, and bridge gaps between AI innovation and risk management.
Requirements Engineering & Agile Artifacts: Lead discovery sessions to define functional, technical, non-functional, integration, and security requirements. Translate findings into Epics, User Stories, process maps, and traceability matrices in Jira/Confluence.
Security Tool & Vendor Evaluations: Define evaluation criteria, coordinate Proof of Concept (POC) pilots, and deliver recommendation dossiers for emerging AI security tooling and platforms.
Governance & Operating Playbooks: Author reusable playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), decision matrices, and executive summaries to support long-term AI governance and enablement.

- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Expertise translating business and security requirements into structured Agile artifacts (Epics, Features, User Stories, process flows) using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
- AI Cybersecurity & Identity Awareness: Strong conceptual understanding of AI/LLM security risks (e.g., prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse) and 2+ years of exposure to Cybersecurity / Identity & Access Management (IAM) domains.
- Tool Assessment & POC Execution: Practical experience developing evaluation frameworks, running vendor POCs, and formulating business case recommendations.
- Agile / SAFe Methodologies: Experience collaborating within Agile frameworks (SAFe experience preferred) to deliver iterative process and tooling improvements.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Executive Communication: Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to summarize complex technical dependencies for Managers, Directors, and VPs.
