COMPENSATION: $120 - $130 HOURLY
Role Overview
This role focuses on driving launch readiness for future wearable devices, specifically regarding their integration into a mobile application. The Technical Program Manager will act as the connective layer between device programs and mobile application engineering teams, ensuring seamless execution and communication across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary link between Device Programs and Mobile App engineering teams.
- Track the execution of deliverables against upcoming milestones with Engineering and QA teams.
- Work with Wearables pods to ensure milestone delivery and communicate consolidated status updates to program leads.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows for status reporting and deliverable tracking.
- Ensure feature readiness for weekly mobile app releases by driving milestones and readiness criteria to completion.
- Drive down launch blockers, critical bugs, and service events through direct engagement with task and feature owners.
- Maintain data accuracy within the project orchestration tool by following up with deliverable owners.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional partners on how to record and validate their work for leadership reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of program management experience with cross-functional coordination, particularly with Quality Assurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing executive updates and managing release communications.
- General experience with software release management, including knowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to automate workflows using artificial intelligence tools.
- Technical depth and an understanding of how software works and systems connect; a software engineering background is a plus.
- A background in STEM, computer science, or another analytical field.
- Experience with mobile application development and hardware-software integration.
