GIS Analyst

Job Title: GIS Analyst

Location: Edison, NJ (3 Days Onsite / Week)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support geospatial data management, analysis, and mapping initiatives for utility operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS, geospatial databases, and utility network data. Experience working with electric or gas utility clients is highly preferred.

Required Experience

·       5+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst or GIS Developer.

·       Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online).

·       Experience working with utility GIS data (Electric, Gas, Water, or Telecom).

·       Good understanding of spatial data management and geospatial analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities

·       Maintain and update GIS databases and spatial datasets.

·       Create, edit, and validate utility network features.

·       Develop maps, dashboards, and geospatial reports.

·       Perform spatial analysis to support business and engineering teams.

·       Ensure GIS data quality, integrity, and consistency.

·       Support data migration and GIS integration projects.

·       Collaborate with engineers, planners, and field operations teams.

·       Troubleshoot GIS data issues and provide user support.

·       Automate GIS workflows using Python (ArcPy) where applicable.

·       Publish and maintain GIS services using ArcGIS Enterprise.
