The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing activities, with an emphasis on technology, software/SaaS, IT services, and professional services. This role works directly with internal stakeholders and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, negotiate favorable commercial terms, manage contracts, and ensure purchasing activities align with company policies and business requirements.
- Manage sourcing and procurement activities for software/SaaS, hardware, IT services, professional services, telecom, and other assigned categories.
- Conduct RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs; evaluate supplier proposals and provide recommendations based on cost, service, risk, and business requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, licensing terms, renewals, statements of work, and other commercial contract terms.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement and contracting process.
- Analyze supplier pricing, spend, and contract terms to identify cost-saving and supplier-consolidation opportunities.
- Support vendor onboarding, contract renewals, supplier performance reviews, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contract records, and compliance with established purchasing policies and approval processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, reduce sourcing cycle times, and improve spend visibility.
Ideally the candidate will have strong commercial negotiation, analytical, contract-review, and stakeholder-management skills and be comfortable independently managing multiple sourcing initiatives.
