Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and scalable data processing solutions.
- Develop automation, monitoring, and operational processes to improve platform reliability, performance, and availability.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, analytics frameworks, and distributed processing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-native solutions, security controls, and platform enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5+ years of experience in data platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, distributed data processing, and platform operations.

Technical Skills
|
AWS, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Python, Iceberg, HDFS
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Data Engineering, Cloud Platform Operations, Data Pipeline Development, Infrastructure Automation, Data Governance, Performance Optimization
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
