Position:Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS)

Location:ONSITE - Marysville, OH 43040
Pay Rate:$75.00 - $88.75 per hour (W2 ONLY)
HYBRID: MUST work ONSITE 4 days per week (LOCAL candidates or your must be willing to relocate at your own expense)
HOURS: MON-FRI
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems within cloud IaaS providers.
* Lead and support complex cloud infrastructure projects through completion, ensuring alignment with IT and DMA standards.
* Recommend cloud-based platform services, including container platform capabilities, that improve performance, scalability, resilience, and enable new capabilities.
* Evaluate, compare, and implement emerging technologies and integrate systems into the cloud computing environment.
* Lead the transition of locally hosted infrastructure to cloud platforms while ensuring integration with existing enterprise systems.
* Support implementation and integration of Kubernetes-based container environments, including AWS EKS and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, where aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
* Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based compute, storage, and container platform environments.
* Develop and maintain automation solutions for cloud and on-premise infrastructure management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
* 5+ years managing enterprise level cloud infrastructure environments.
* 5+ years of experience with emerging technologies, including DevOps, hyper converged infrastructure, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
* 5+ years of experience working with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on working experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
* Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Chef, Puppet, or similar).
* Strong expertise in Linux and Windows environments.
