Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer for an onsite Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Mechanicsburg, PA. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Vue.js, SQL, and Oracle Database. Candidates must be self-sufficient, capable of handling development activities independently, and require minimal supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing front-end applications using Vue.js.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle Database, including writing queries and making database changes.
- Experience with unit testing, basic accessibility testing, and responsive design testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based full stack applications.
- Handle feature development, peer code reviews, estimate validation, and defect resolution.
- Work on assigned backlog items and deliver solutions within project timelines.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and implement Oracle database changes.
- Perform unit testing, basic accessibility testing, and responsive design testing.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
- Manage development tasks using TFS, Azure DevOps, or related tools.
- Take ownership of assigned work with minimal technical oversight.
