Senior Full Stack Developer – Java / React / AI-Assisted Development
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and support scalable applications for financial and operational platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and SQL Server, along with experience building REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
A key focus of this role is the use of agentic AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools to accelerate software development. The candidate must be able to effectively use AI-generated code while applying strong engineering judgment to review, validate, secure, test, and improve the output.
The role also requires someone who can take ownership of technical solutions, participate in code reviews, establish development standards, and work directly with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop applications supporting financial operations, transaction processing, reporting, and business workflows.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development while reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Integrate applications with enterprise and financial platforms such as Sage Intacct.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and follow modern DevOps practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, security practices, and technical documentation.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure application quality.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand financial and operational processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor developers and help establish effective AI-assisted software development practices.

Candidates should have actual hands-on experience using AI coding/agentic development tools, not simply exposure to ChatGPT or AI concepts.
They should be comfortable using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to:
- Generate and modify application code
- Accelerate feature development
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing code
- Refactor and optimize applications
- Generate tests and documentation
- Review AI-generated output for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability
- Integrate AI-assisted development into an established engineering workflow
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Financial Services, Private Equity, or Fund Administration experience
