Pay Range: $58 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 10 12 utility infrastructure and capital construction projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor project expenditures.
- Review contractor proposals, bids, estimates, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.
- Interpret civil engineering drawings, utility plans, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, permitting, municipalities, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct field inspections and project site walkdowns to verify construction progress and quality.
- Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety regulations, and engineering specifications.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to leadership.
- Resolve construction issues, scheduling conflicts, and stakeholder concerns.
- Support project closeout activities, including documentation and financial reconciliation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Project Management
- Reading/Interpreting Civil construction plans
- Financial Forecasting (Monthly Cash Flows) of projects
- Project Management experience (3+ years)
- Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience or Engineering experience directly working on Utility installation/relocation projects
- Experience reviewing contract proposals/bids
- Experience with preparing the project forecasting (e.g., Monthly Cash Flows)
